PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the declaration dated the 19th day of May 1972 and published in the Gazette, 25 May 1972, p. 1115, declaring land taken for electrical works in the City of Takapuna, in so far as it affects the land last-described in the Schedule thereto being an area of 5.7 perches and being part Lot 3, D.R.O. Plan T62; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26265 (S.O. 47277) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Agreement for Grant of Rights of Way in Favour of Jack Hope, of Auckland, Builder, Over Land Situated in the Borough of One Tree Hill, Held for a Post Office, Assented to

WHEREAS by an agreement dated the 13th day of September 1972, Jack Hope, of Auckland, builder, agreed, pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, to grant to Her Majesty the Queen a right of way easement over part of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, of which the said Jack Hope is the registered proprietor, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and whereas the said Jack Hope is entitled to compensation for the granting of such easement; and whereas by the agreement hereinbefore referred to the Minister of Works agreed to grant to the said Jack Hope a right of way easement over part of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, of which Her Majesty the Queen is the registered proprietor, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and whereas the said Jack Hope has agreed to accept such grant of right of way easement in full satisfaction of the said compensation.

Now therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

The Taranaki Polytechnic Notice 1973

PURSUANT to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Taranaki Polytechnic Notice 1973.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1973.

2. There shall be a Board of Governors to be known as the Council of the Taranaki Polytechnic.

3. The Council of the Taranaki Polytechnic shall be constituted as follows:

(a) Two members elected by the governing bodies of secondary schools in the Province of Taranaki;

(b) Two members appointed by the Taranaki Local Bodies Association, one of which shall be appointed on the nomination of the New Plymouth City Council;

(c) Two members elected by the Industrial Associations of Employers in Taranaki;

(d) Two members elected by the Industrial Associations of Employees in Taranaki;

(e) One member appointed by the Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Taranaki Provincial District);
