Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been vested in the Crown, hereby declare the said land to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Blocks XIII, Coromandel, and II, Hastings Survey Districts, and described as follows:

262 3 10 Manaia 1B and 2B Section E No. 1 Block, as shown on M. L. Plan 20669.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of October 1972.

Amending Declaration of Land in the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as follows:

  1. (i) This Proclamation may be cited as the Bromley Wildlife Refuge Declaration;
    (ii) This Proclamation shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  2. The Proclamation made on the 17th day of May 1961*, declaring the area described in the First Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953, is hereby revoked.

  3. The area described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953.

FIRST SCHEDULE
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western shore of the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers and in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 20268L, and proceeding north-westerly and north-easterly to and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that lot and its production to the north-eastern side of Ruru Road; thence north-westerly along that roadside to the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 8686, contained in Proclamation No. 353099; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of that part lot to the south-eastern side of Cuthbert's Road; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along that roadside and the south-western side of Breezes Road and the production of the last-mentioned roadside to the western shore of the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers; thence southerly along that shore to the point of commencement. As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/508 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
All that area in the City of Christchurch containing 716 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western shore of the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 3,
