NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE EASEMENT OVER LAND FOR
DRAINAGE
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the
Public Works Act 1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mount Eden Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of
a storm water outfall—and for the purposes of such public
work easements of the areas and over the lands described in
the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
A plan showing the properties affected and the position of
the easements is deposited at the Administration Building, 64
Valley Road, Mount Eden, and is available for inspection
during office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the easements who have objections to the
execution of the said public work or the taking of the ease-
ments, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, must state their objections in writing, and send
the same within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice to the Town Clerk, at the Administration Building, 64
Valley Road, Mount Eden (P.O. Box 8508, Auckland 1).
If any objection is made in accordance with the foregoing
paragraph a public hearing of the objections will be held unless
the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be

ELLESMERE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lincoln Fire Appliance Loan 1971-$21,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Elles-
mere County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $21,000, authorised to be raised by the Ellesmere
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of meeting the cost of a new fire appliance for the
Lincoln Urban Fire District, the said Ellesmere County Coun-
cil hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five nine
one cents (.591c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the
basis of capital value) of all rateable property in the County
of Ellesmere, and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and shall be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of
a resolution passed by the Ellesmere County Council on the
24th day of January 1972.
