Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of
Sluggish River Drainage District

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His
Excellency the Governor-General pursuant to section 2 (1) of
the Land Drainage Amendment Act 1922, praying that the area
described in the Schedule hereto be included in the Sluggish
River Drainage Board.

All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration
are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions
against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal
Affairs, Wellington, within 1 month from the date of publica-
tion of this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District being part of
the County of Manawatu containing an area of 780 acres, more
or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of
the western side of Green Road and the southern side of Taipo
Road in Block V, Kairanga S.D., and proceeding easterly along
the production of the southern side of Taipo Road to the
eastern side of Green Road; thence generally north-easterly
along that side to and along the south-western, south-eastern,
and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 24108, and the
eastern side of Green Road and the north-western boundary of
Lot 1, D.P. 23601, to the northernmost corner of the said Lot
1; thence generally south-easterly along the generally northern
boundaries of the said Lot 1 to the southern side of No. 3
State Highway and along that side and its production to the
middle of the Oroua River; thence generally south-westerly
along the boundaries of Manawatu Drainage District as
described in Gazette, 1953, page 537, to the northern boundary
of Sluggish River Drainage District as described in Gazette,
1959, page 348; thence generally north-westerly along the
boundaries of that district to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of the Borough of Onehunga Altered

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby alters the boun-
daries of the Borough of Onehunga so as to include therein
the area described in the Schedule hereto, being land reclaimed
from the sea adjacent to the said borough.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District situated in
Block V, Otahuhu Survey District, being 12.6 perches, more
or less, shown on Land Transfer Plan 65416 and being part
certificate of title, 12D/604, limited as to parcels.

7th day of February 1972.
