NOTIFYING ISSUE OF WRITS, DATE OF POLLING, ETC.

Pursuant to a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, dated the 26th day of October 1972 directed to the Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning Officers authorising them to proceed to the election of members of Parliament for all electoral districts, and have fixed Thursday, the 2nd day of November 1972, as the last day for the nomination of candidates, Saturday, the 25th day of November 1972, as the day upon which the poll for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Friday the 15th day of December 1972 as the day on or before which the said writs shall be returnable to me.

NEW ZEALAND REMUNERATION AUTHORITY - COST OF LIVING ORDER

Pursuant to regulation 19(1) of the Stabilisation of Remuneration Regulations 1972, the Remuneration Authority, having received from the Government Statistician on the 10th day of October 1972 a copy of the Consumers' Price Index for the quarter ending the 30th day of September 1972 disclosing a percentage increase of 4.2 for the period 1st day of January 1972 to 30th day of September 1972, hereby orders as follows:
