AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
SPECIAL ORDER
THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 43, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to raise the sum of $500,000 as a special loan, to be known as Drainage Loan No. 52, 1968, $2,100,000—4th Issue $500,000, for the purposes of and incidental to the improving and adding to the Manukau Treatment Plant and Main Sewer Extensions.
The foregoing special order was passed at a meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held on 21 August 1972 and confirmed at a meeting of the said Authority held on 18 September 1972, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 26 August and 6 September 1972.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Waitahanui Urban Drainage and Water Supply Special Rating Area taken on the 20th day of September 1972 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $100,000, to be known as “The Waitahanui Urban Drainage and Water Supply Loan 1972”, for the purpose of providing water and drainage reticulation for the Waitahanui Urban Drainage and Water Supply Area resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was …… …… …… …… …… 50
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was …… …… …… …… 135
The number of informal votes was …… …… Nil
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
NEW ZEALAND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
These are not now available from Government Bookshops but may be obtained from the New Zealand Standards Association, Private Bag, Wellington.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription $10 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
