PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for the Mount Maunganui Branch Railway from and after the 18th day of September 1972.

ALL that piece of land containing 26.6 perches, situated in the Borough of Mount Maunganui, being part Section 29, Block VII, Tauranga Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26567 (S.O. 46668) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block VI, Oteramika Hundred, Southland County

———

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby: (a) authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for agricultural research purposes (animal breeding farm), for a scenic reserve, which shall be a secondary use of the said land; and (b) specifies that Part IV of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 shall apply to the said land.
