BOUNDARIES OF GISBORNE RIDING OF COUNTY OF COOK

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, Cook County,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast
of Poverty Bay, being the middle of the mouth of the
Waipaoa River in Block IX, Turanganui Survey District,
proceeding north-easterly generally along the sea coast to a
point in line with the south-western side of Section 35,
Block VI, Turanganui Survey District, being also a point on
the boundary of the City of Gisborne; thence northerly
generally along the boundary of the City of Gisborne
hereinbefore-described, to the north-western corner of part
Lot 1, D.P. 4625, along the production of the western
boundary of that lot to the middle of the Taruheru River;
thence westerly generally up the middle of that river, to and
up the middle of the Makowiriwiri Stream, to and up the
middle of the Makeretu Stream to the middle of State High-
way No. 2, westerly generally along the middle of State
Highway No. 2, to and along the middle of Farmers Road, to
and along the middle of Bushmere Road, to and along the
middle of Bloomfield Road to a point in line with the south-
western boundary of Section 83, Block I, Turanganui Survey
District, to and along that boundary, the south-western
boundaries of Section 93, Block I, Turanganui Survey District,
parts Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 712, and the production of the
last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Waipaoa River,
up the middle of that river to a point due east of the eastern-
most corner of Lot 2, D.P. 5158, due west along a right line
to the middle of Kirkpatricks Road, along the middle of
Kirkpatricks Road, to and along the middle of State Highway
36, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of
Section 23, Patutahi Rural, to and along that boundary and
its production to the middle of the Pipiwhakao Road, along
the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-
eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 2950, to and along that
boundary, the south-western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P.
2950, part Lot 7, D.P. 1208, Lot 1, D.P. 5337, and the pro-
duction of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of
State Highway 36, along the middle of that State highway
to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 90,
Patutahi Rural; thence south-easterly generally to and along
the eastern boundary of the said Section 90 to the northern-
most corner of Section 142, Block IV, Patutahi Survey District,
along the eastern boundary of Section 142 for a distance of
2,978.3 links, along a right line to the westernmost corner of
Section 32, Block VIII, Patutahi Survey District, along the
south-western boundary of that section, the south-western and
southern boundaries of Section 24, Block VIII, Patutahi
Survey District, to a point in line with the eastern boundary
of Lot 1, D.P. 4120, across a public road and again along the
southern boundary of the aforementioned Section 24 to the

north-western side of Papatu Road, along a right line across
Papatu Road to the northernmost corner of Papatu No. 3,
along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Papatu
No. 3 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to
the middle of the Te Arai River, down the middle of that
river, to and down the middle of the Waipaoa River to the
point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF WHATAUPOTO RIDING OF COUNTY OF COOK

FIRSTLY, all that area in the Gisborne Land District, Cook
County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the
sea coast of Poverty Bay in line with the north-western
boundary of Kaiti 336D2A, being also a point on the boundary
of the City of Gisborne, hereinbefore-described, and proceed-
ing south-easterly, thence northerly generally along the sea
coast to the middle of the Hamanatua Stream, up the middle
of that stream, to and along the south-eastern boundary of
Lot 1, D.P. 180, across a public road to and along the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 180, and its production
to the middle of the Kopakiraho Stream, up the middle of
that stream to a point in line with the generally western
boundary of the aforementioned Lot 3, to and along that
boundary to the left bank of the Waimata River; thence
westerly generally along a line due west to the middle of
that river, down the middle of that river to a point in line
with the south-western boundary of Lot 17, D.P. 395, across
Riverside Road, to and along that boundary, the south-
western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 1050, part Lot 16, D.P. 395,
and Lot 20, D.P. 1174, to the easternmost corner of Lot 29,
D.P. 249, being a point on the boundary of the City of
Gisborne; thence southerly generally along the boundary of
the City of Gisborne as hereinbefore-described to the point
of commencement including Tuamotu Island.

Secondly, all that area in the Gisborne Land District, Cook
County, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western
corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 4625, being a point on the
boundary of the City of Gisborne, hereinbefore-described,
and proceeding north-easterly generally along that boundary
to the intersection with the south-western boundary of part
Lot 12, D.P. 395; thence northerly generally along the south-
western boundary of the said part Lot 12, to a point on the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 11, D.P. 2352, along that
south-eastern boundary of Lot 11, the south-eastern and
north-eastern boundaries of Lot 15, D.P. 2469, along the north-
eastern boundary of Lot 14, D.P. 2468, and its production
across Matokitoki Valley Road, to and along the north-
eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 2453, to its northernmost
corner; thence south-westerly generally along the north-
western boundaries of Lots 5 and 7, D.P. 2453, Lot 6, D.P.
2282, the generally western boundaries of the said Lot 6,
and Lot 8, D.P. 2352, along the north-western boundaries of
Lot 3, D.P. 2261, and Lot 1, D.P. 2719, along the production
of the last-mentioned boundary across Back Ormond Road,
to and along the middle of Hansen Road to the middle of
the Taruheru River; thence south-easterly generally down the
middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 4625, along a right line to the
north-western corner of that lot, being the point of
commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF POUAWA RIDING OF COUNTY OF COOK

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, Cook County,
commencing at a point on the sea coast being the middle of
the Hamanatua Stream in Block VIII, Turanganui Survey
District, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the sea
coast to the middle of the Pouawa River; thence northerly
generally up the middle of the Pouawa River and up the
middle of the Tarewarewa Stream to a point in line with the
western boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 4804, to and along that
boundary to Trig. Station Waimanu in Block IX, Whangara
Survey District, along the eastern boundary of part Waimata
South 2B (crossing a public road and Glenroy Road), the
eastern boundary of Section 2BX, Block IX, Whangara Survey
District, along the eastern boundary of part Waimata South
2A, the abutment of a public road and again along the eastern
boundary of the said 2A to the southernmost corner of Lot 2,
D.P. 3312, along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of
that lot and the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P.
3312, to its northernmost corner; thence south-westerly
generally along the north-western boundary of the last-
mentioned lot and its production to the middle of the
Mangaorangi Stream, up the middle of that stream to a point
in line with the western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 3312,
to and along that boundary, the northern and western boun-
daries of Lot 2, D.P. 2754, the western boundary of Lot 2,
D.P. 762, and its production to the middle of the Makahakaha
Stream, down the middle of that stream and down the middle
