Amending a Notice Proclaiming Land as Road, and Road
Closed and Vested in Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey
District, Whangarei County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works hereby amends the notice dated the 2nd day of May
1972 and published in New Zealand Gazette, 4 May 1972, No.
39, p. 973, proclaiming land as road, and road closed and
vested in Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey District, Whangarei
County, pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act 1948, by deleting therefrom the area of road con-
taining 1 rood and 25 perches thirdly described in the Second
Schedule thereto, and substituting therefor the area of 1 acre
1 rood 25 perches adjoining or passing through part Section
19, Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W.
26184 (S.O. 46997) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and
Land Taken in Block XII, Tapapa Survey District,
Matamata County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1928, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby
proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest, as to
the areas of 6.5 perches and 3 roods 35.4 perches thereof,
in Ronald Borthwick Browne, of Matamata, farmer, subject
to memoranda of mortgage S. 149410 and S. 547051, South
Auckland Land Registry; as to the areas of 2 roods 14.6
perches and 22.2 perches thereof in Neville D’Arcy Bishop,
of Te Poi, farmer; and, as to the areas of 2 roods 4.8 perches
and 1 rood 29.5 perches, in the said Neville D’Arcy Bishop,
subject to memoranda of mortgage S. 154735 and S. 204992,
South Auckland Land Registry; and also hereby takes the
