Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Reefton Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Declaration That the Mount Nessing Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve; Change of Purpose of a Reserve, and Appointment to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Mount Nessing Domain described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act; changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto from a reserve for a public-hall site to a reserve for recreation purposes; and further appoints the Mount Nessing Hall Society to control and manage the reserves described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as reserves for recreation purposes.

Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares the said land may be disposed of by the Carterton Borough Council at current market value, the proceedings from any such sale to be paid into Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
