Appointment of a Trustee of the Otago Savings Bank

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 27th day of July 1972, pursuant to section 8 of the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General was pleased to appoint Russell MacNeil Henderson as a trustee of the Otago Savings Bank for the residue of the term of office of the late Walter Arthur Hudson, J.P.

The Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 1, 1972.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 60-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27B of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

3. So much of the Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 5, 1969* as relates to the Christchurch Northern Motorway is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

THE Christchurch Northern Motorway:

From a point 5 chains measured northerly generally along the said motorway from Dickeys Road at Belfast, to a point 5 chains measured southerly generally along the said motorway from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) north of Kaiapoi; and including the interchange ramps to and from the intersections of Tram Road, Ohoka Road, and Lineside Road and the south-bound off ramp south of the Waimakiriri Motorway Bridges.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the S.I.M.T. Railway from and after the 14th day of August 1972.

Notice of Intention to Take Land at Te Hana for the Purposes of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to take two portions of land described in the schedule hereto for the purposes of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway. The land is part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 564, folio 105, North Auckland Registry, the registered proprietor of which is Maurice Harding of Auckland, farmer.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land to be taken is deposited in the post office at Te Hana and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of the notice to the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of objection.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Buller County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
