Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve, set apart by Proclamation dated the 18th day of January 1921, and published in Gazette, 20 January 1921, Volume I, page 126, is required for the settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land, available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND COUNTY
PARTS Reserve 1705, situated in Blocks XV and XVI, Mount Oneone Survey District (formerly shown as Oneone Survey District), and Blocks III and IV, Whataroa Survey District (formerly shown as Wataroa Survey District): area, 3,386 acres 3 roods 34.8 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/98/5C deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 5867).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of July 1972.

Pursuant to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the permanent State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State Forest Park and as part of the Tararua State Forest Park.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY— HOROWHENUA COUNTY
PART Pukehou 5A1, situated in Block X, Waitohu, and Block XIII, Waiopehu Survey District: area, 275 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 542, folio 36.
Parts Pukehou 5L1-5L5, situated in Block IV, Kaitawa, Block I, Taungata, Block X, Waitohu, and Block XIII, Waiopehu Survey District: area, 1,646 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 542, folio 38.
As shown on plan N. 157/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Sections 70 and 71, Block I, Taungata Survey District: area, 3,881 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 173, folio 25.
