Waimana Parish, situated in Block XI, Whakatane Survey
District; coloured blue on S.O. Plan 45647, and situated on the
northern side of the Wainui Road between the Matekerepu
Bridge and the quarry, and forming part of the present
river bed.
THIRD SCHEDULE
(ROAD TO BE STOPPED)
Two roods and eighteen decimal four perches, more or less,
being parts Allotments 183, 183B, and 184, Waimana Parish,
situated in Block XI, Whakatane Survey District, in the South
Auckland Land District, and situated on the north-eastern
side of the Wainui Road opposite the quarry.

GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954:
Notice is hereby given that the Gore Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the creation of a
service lane in the Borough of Gore from part of the property
known as 17 Medway Street and bordering on 19 Medway
Street to an empty allotment situated at the rear of the two
buildings facing on to Irk Street, Gore, as described in the
Schedule hereto, and for the purposes of such public work the
lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be
taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Gore Borough
Council Offices in Fairfield Street, Gore, and is there open for
inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or by the taking of the lands should, if they have
any objection to the execution of the said public work or the
taking of the said lands, not being objections to the amount
or payment of compensation, set forth such objection in
writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publica-
tion of this notice to the Town Clerk of the Gore Borough
Council, Gore. If any objection is made in accordance with
this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

AN estate in fee simple in:

All that piece of land situated in the Town of Gore
containing 8.8 poles, more or less being part Section 7, Block
V, of the said town, and being part of the land comprised
and described in certificate of title B3/140, Southland Registry;
coloured blue on S.O. Plan No. 8260 and situated at 17
Medway Street, Gore. -
All that piece of land situated in the Town of Gore
containing 0.4 of a pole, more or less, being part Section 8,
Block V, of the said town, and being part of the land com-
prised and described in certificate of title B3/137, Southland
Registry; coloured orange on S.O. Plan No. 8260 and situated
at 19 Medway Street, Gore. -
All that piece of land situated in the Town of Gore
containing 5.8 poles, more or less, being part Section 16,
Block V, of the said town, and being part of the land com-
prised and described in certificate of title, Volume 41, folio
91, Southland Registry; coloured blue on S.O. Plan No. 8260,
and situated in Irk Street, and being the empty allotment at the
rear of the building known as Cranmer Court. -
All that piece of land situated in the Town of Gore con-
taining 3.1 poles, more or less, being part Section 17, Block
V, of the said town, and being part of the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 146, folio 122,
Southland Registry; coloured sepia on S.O. Plan No. 8260, and
situated in Irk Street, and being the empty allotment at the
rear of the building presently occupied by Shirley and Co.
and Liam Hollands.

HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewer Reticulation Redemption Loan 1972 of $28,200
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Henderson Borough Council held on the 4th day of July
1972:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the above-mentioned loan of $28,200, authorised to be raised
by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of
the Sewer Reticulation Loan 1960 of $230,000 which mature
on 25 June and 15 July 1972, the said Henderson Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three
one (.031) cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson;
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of June in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off; and that such special rate is hereby permanently
appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of
securing the said loan of $28,200 and interest thereon at a
rate not exceeding six percent (6%) per annum.”

CITY OF PAPATOETOE
SPECIAL ORDER—CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL RATES
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by
section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as
enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amend-
ment Act 1959, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf,
the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves, by way of
special order, that instead of levying the special rates specified
in the Schedule hereto, a uniform consolidated special rate
of 0.76874c in the dollar on all rateable property within the
City of Papatoetoe be and the same is hereby made an
annually recurring rate for the purposes of paying the annual
charges plus 10 percent thereof payable in respect of the
loans secured by those special rates. And the Papatoetoe City
Council hereby further resolves that the consolidated special
rate shall be payable in one sum on the 1st day of August in
each year at the City Council Office, Saint George Street,
Papatoetoe, to George Henry Mills Green, City Treasurer, or
at such other place or to such other person for the time being
authorised by the Council.
