OPOTIKI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Opotiki County Council pro-
poses, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
take for road the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
to take for the purposes of river diversion the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto, and to stop the portions of
road described in the Third Schedule hereto.

A plan showing the land proposed to be taken and stopped
respectively is available for public inspection at the office of
the Opotiki County Council, Elliott Street, Opotiki. Any
persons having any objection to the proposed taking should
lodge their objections (not being objections to the amount
or payment of compensation) in writing within 40 days from
the date of the first publication of this notice to the said
office of the Opotiki County Council. If any such objections
are made as aforesaid a public hearing of the objection will
be held, unless the objectors otherwise require, and each
