Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the
Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby
consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in
the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective

In the Matter of the Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

A.H.I. INSURANCES LTD. has given notice to the Public Trustee
that it has ceased to carry on fire insurance business in New
Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw the deposit which
was made by it in respect of that class of insurance business
with the Public Trustee pursuant to section 3 of the above-mentioned Act.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to
section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that he proposes
to release to the company, on or after the 31st day of July
1972, the amount deposited with him by the said company
in respect of its fire insurance business.

Any objection to the release of the amount deposited should
be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office,
Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 24th day of
July 1972.

28 January 1971.

1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New
Zealand standard specifications are being circulated:

DZ 7646/245 Polythene pipe for gas reticulation. (Metric and
imperial units.)

All persons who may be affected by these specifications and
who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain
a copy of each on loan from the Standards Association of
New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or
Private Bag), Wellington 1. Additional copies are obtainable
at 50c a copy from the same address.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 30 September 1972.
