Defining the Middle Line of a Deviation of the North Island Main Trunk Railway Between Utiku and Mangaweka

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 216 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the deviation of the North Island Main Trunk Railway between Utiku and Mangaweka shall be that delineated on the plan specified in the Schedule hereto, and the land affected shall be that set forth in the Schedule hereto and situated within varying distances on either side of the middle line as shown on the plan aforementioned.

COMMENCING on the southern side of the existing railway passing through Part Awarua 4C3 and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction for approximately 5Β½ miles and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz:
