- (a) Any person employed during any day in or about
the exhibition who is employed on that day for more than
8 hours, or before the hour of 8 a.m., or after the hour
of 10.30 p.m., or on any day in excess of 5 days per week
(whether the excess employment is in or about the exhibition
or otherwise) shall be paid for the excess employment at not
less than half as much again as the ordinary rate for the first
2 hours and not less than twice the ordinary rate thereafter.
(b) Any person employed in or about the exhibition on any
day that would, but for the provisions of this order, have been
a whole holiday for that person by virtue of any Act or of
any award or industrial agreement shall be paid for all work
done on that day at not less than twice the ordinary rate,
whether the work is performed wholly in or about the
exhibition or otherwise: Provided that nothing in this sub-
clause shall be deemed to deprive any person of any other
payment for the said holiday to which he is entitled under
any Act or award or industrial agreement.

No male under 18 years of age and no female shall
be employed in or about the exhibition after the hour of
10.30 p.m. -
For the purposes of the enforcement of an award or
industrial agreement, any provision of which has been
suspended by this order, any officer of the industrial union or
association concerned who is authorised in writing in that
behalf by the union or association shall be entitled to
interview at his place of employment any person employed in
or about the exhibition under that award or industrial
agreement at such time or times as may be agreed upon
between the officer and the employer of that person, and for
this purpose any such officer shall be entitled at any time to
have access to the register of passes issued by the promoter. -
Nothing in this notice shall be deemed to affect any
provisions in an award or industrial agreement requiring
workers subject to the award or industrial agreement to be
members of a union.

The Traffic (Waitomo County) Notice No. 2, 1972
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitomo County)
Notice No. 2, 1972. -
The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the
23rd day of December 1966*, which relates to Pio Pio in
Waitomo County, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waitomo County at Pio Pio:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New
Plymouth) (from a point 25 chains measured north-easterly
generally along the said State highway from Kea Street to a
point 5 chains measured south-westerly generally along the
said State Highway from Kaka Street).
Kaka Street (from the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-
Woodville via New Plymouth) to Pio Pio - Waitanguru Road).
Kea Street (from the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-
Woodville via New Plymouth) to Mairoa Road).
Ruru Street (from the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-
Woodville via New Plymouth) to a point 24 chains measured
southerly generally along the said street from Tui Street).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taumarunui
County) Notice No. 1, 1972.
(2) The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The Gazette notice of 26th February 1964* relating to
a limited-speed zone in Taumarunui County is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within the Taumarunui County at Whakapapa
Village (Chateau Tongariro) No. 48 State Highway (Chateau)
(from Whakapapanui Bridge to a point 20 chains measured
northerly generally along the said highway from Hepi
Terrace).

The Motor Launch (Lake Georgina) Notice 1972βMalvern
County Council
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the
Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives the following
notice.
NOTICE
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake
Georgina) Notice 1972.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its
publication in the Gazette.
- Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule
hereto, regulations 11 (c) and 12 (c) of the Motor Launch
Regulations 1962 shall not apply between the hours of 12
noon and 3 p.m. daily to motor launches towing persons learn-
ing to water ski and to persons learning to water ski in the
area described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water in Malvern County known as Lake
Georgina.
SECOND SCHEDULE
-
No water skiing shall be undertaken except under the
personal supervision of an honorary launch warden. -
At each launching place, and positioned at normal lake
level in the area described in the First Schedule hereto, there
shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft
6 in. by 2 ft, painted bright orange with black lettering in the
following form:
