CHATHAM ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Chatham Islands require to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely a road.
Notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said land (No. S.O. 26585) is open to inspection by all persons at the following places:
(1) The office of the Chatham Islands County Council, Waitangi, Chatham Islands; and
(2) The offices of Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin, and Rose, Solicitors, National Bank Building, Featherston Street, Wellington.
Every person affected by such taking is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Chatham Islands County Council, Waitangi, Chatham Islands.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
Two acres and thirty-seven perches being part Kekerione No. 42 (or Hakuraterangi), and situate in Block III, Oropuke Survey District, and being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 226, folio 243 (Wellington Registry), and being delineated and shown coloured orange on the plan lodged with the Chief Surveyor, Wellington, under No. S.O. 26585.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council proposes, in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, as improvements to the Edendale-Island Road.
A plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, and is open for public inspection without fee during ordinary office hours.
All persons having any objection to the proposed taking of land must state their objection in writing and send the same to the Southland County Council, P.O. Box 903, Invercargill, within 40 days of the 8th day of June 1972, being the date of the first publication of this notice.
If any such objection shall be made, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto are required to be stopped. And further notice is hereby given that a plan of the portion of road required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barke’s Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the stopping of the said portions of road, should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works or the stopping of the said portions of road, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council at Tauranga, and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
No. 3 Rural Water Supply Loan 1972—$13,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipara County Council hereby resolves:
“That for the purpose of providing annual loan charges on a loan of $13,000, to be known as the No. 3 Rural Water Supply Loan 1972, authorised to be raised by the Waipara County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the costs of installation of a rural water supply to farm lands in the Mount Alexander - Hitchen Hills
