NOTICE is hereby given, in compliance with the requirements
of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and its amend-
ments, that the Minister of Customs has received the
final report of the Tariff and Development Board on the
following goods:

Fittings for loose-leaf binders for files or for
stationery books, of base metal; letter clips,
paper clips, indexing tags, and similar
stationery goods, of base metal

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 278—Further
Notice Regarding Inquiry on Certain Coated Papers (T.I.
48.07.059)

  1. The terms of reference for certain coated papers given in
    Notice No. 265 (New Zealand Gazette of 20 April 1972)
    stated (paragraph 2) that the reference arose from a request
    that a determination under T.I. 48.07.051 be placed on all
    coated printing and writing papers except those set out in the
    Second Schedule to Notice No. 265.
  2. The Minister of Customs has now informed the Board
    that this reference arises from a request that a determination
    under Tariff item 48.07.051 be placed on all coated printing
    and writing papers, the C.I.F. and E. value of which does not
    exceed $502 per ton (sheets) and $476 per ton (reels) except
    certain specified grades of such papers as set out in the
    attached Schedule to this notice, which now replaces the
    Second Schedule to Notice No. 265. The public hearing in
    connection with this inquiry will commence at 10.30 a.m. on
    Tuesday, 1 August 1972.

Standards Council, on 26 May 1972, endorsed as suitable for
use in New Zealand the under-mentioned amendments to the
relevant endorsed overseas specifications:

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards
Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New
Zealand standard specification is being circulated:

All persons who may be affected by this specification and
who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain
a copy on loan from the Standards Association of New
