The Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The notice dated the 6th day of April 1956†, under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, which relates to Whangarei County, is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei County at Waipu:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 13 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Waipu Cove Road to a point 12 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from North River No. 2 Road).

North River No. 2 Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 2 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the said State highway).

St. Marys Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 26 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said road from the said State highway).

South Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 6 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway).

Waipu Cove Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 10 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway).
