The Traffic (Huntly Borough) Notice No. 1, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

N O T I C E

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Huntly Borough) Notice No. 1, 1972.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

4. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956 dated the 25th day of November 1963*, which relates to No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) and Russells Road in Huntly Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Huntly Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 4 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Hakanoa Street to the northern boundary of Huntly Borough; and from a point 4 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Western Road to the southern boundary of Huntly Borough).

Russells Road (from Ralphs Road to the northern boundary of Huntly Borough).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Huntly Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 4 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Hakanoa Street to a point 28 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the said street; and from a point 4 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Western Road to a point 28 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said road).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

N O T I C E

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Malvern County) Notice No. 1, 1972.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Traffic (Malvern County) Notice 1967†, dated the 11th day of December 1967, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to Arthur’s Pass Township in Malvern County, is hereby revoked.

No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara) (from a point 29 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from Avalanche Creek Bridge to a point 13 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from Rough Creek Bridge).
