A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in the roadways laid out by the Maori Land Court by orders dated the 18th day of August 1953, the 26th day of March 1954, and the 15th day of September 1954, to be street.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of May 1972.
