Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land, Subject to a Mining Easement and Mining Rights, in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby: (a) declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land firstly described to the mining easement created by transfer 51588, and as to the land secondly described to the mining rights created by transfer 51545, South Auckland Land Registry, for soil conservation and river control purposes from and after the 24th day of April 1972; and (b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land, for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, as from the 24th day of April 1972, subject to the said mining easement and mining right.
