Division of Kaipara Pest Destruction District Into Wards

PURSUANT to section 21 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the Kaipara Pest Destruction Board hereby gives notice that the Kaipara Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of March 1971*, is hereby divided into wards, the names and boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF WARD 1

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at the southernmost corner of Allotment 80, Mairetahi Parish, in Block V, Waioneke Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly, north-easterly, and south-easterly generally, along the boundary of the Kaipara Pest Destruction District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1971, page 1680, to and easterly generally along the middle of the Mairetahi Creek, to a point in line with the western boundary of Allotment 76, Mairetahi Parish (Landing Reserve), in Block I, Kaipara Survey District; thence northerly to and along that last-mentioned boundary and its production to and south-westerly generally along the middle of a public road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 59, 64, NE37 Mairetahi Parish, Lots 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, D.P. 25886, and Lot 1, D.P. 61633, and the last-named boundary produced to and southerly along the middle of South Head Road and westerly along the middle of Wilsons Road to a point due south of the easternmost corner of Lot 8, D.P. 44956, in Block V, Waioneke Survey District; thence northerly to the said corner, and again south-westerly generally along the north-western side of the public road forming the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 53470, along the intervening north-western boundary of Lot 15, D.P. 17689, the north-western boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 53470, and the south-western boundary of Allotment 80, Mairetahi Parish, to the point of commencement and including all adjacent islands in the Kaipara Harbour.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at the southernmost corner of Allotment 80, Mairetahi Parish, in Block V, Waioneke Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the afore-described south-eastern boundary of Ward 1 to and generally south-easterly along the boundary of the Kaipara Pest Destruction District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1971, page 1680, to its junction with the middle of the Te Moau Stream in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the hereinafter described north-western boundary of Ward 3 to and north-westerly along the boundary of the aforesaid Kaipara Pest Destruction District to the point of commencement and including all adjacent islands in the Kaipara Harbour.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at the westernmost corner of Section 7, Block XII, Kaipara Survey District, and proceeding easterly generally along the generally northern boundaries of Section 7, aforesaid, along the southern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 34039, and continuing along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 2, Land Transfer Plan 61083, to and along the middle of Fordyce Road and the middle of Parkhurst Road to and down the middle of the Te Moau Stream in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District; thence
