Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

The Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 1,
1972

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the
following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification
    (National Roads Board) Notice No. 1, 1972.

  2. It is hereby declared, as required by the National Roads
    Board, that the State highway as set out in the Schedule hereto
    shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 8th day of June 1965† as
    relates to the classification of the road decribed in the Schedule
    hereto is hereby revoked.

NATIONAL ROADS BOARD
Roads Classified in Class One
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from
the No. 5 State Highway (Tirau-Napier via Rotorua and Taupo) to a point 128 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the No. 5 State Highway (Tirau-Napier via Rotorua and Taupo)).

Bylaw Prohibiting the Driving of Horses, Cattle, Sheep, and
Pigs Along the Portion of No. 5 State Highway Between the
Makarewa Meat Works and the Boundary of Invercargill City and Along the Portion of No. 99 State Highway Between Lorneville and the Lorneville Railway Overbridge

PURSUANT to section 13 of the National Roads Act 1953 and
Section 72 of the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads
Board hereby makes the following bylaw.

BYLAW

  1. This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board
    Bylaw 1972, No. 1.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its publication in the Gazette.
