Agricultural Chemicals Notice Restricting Use of 2,4-D Dust
in North Island, Extensions No. 1 (No. 213 Ag. 3339)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Agricultural Chemicals Act
1959 (as amended by the Agricultural Chemicals Amendment
Act 1970), the Minister of Agriculture, on the recommendation
of the Agricultural Chemicals Board, hereby gives notice that
the notice No. 108 Ag. 3339 (as amended by notice No. 132
Ag. 3339†), prohibiting the use of hormone-type herbicide
dusts in the North Island as from 16 September 1971 for 6
months, is hereby extended until 30 April 1972.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 9) 1972
PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations
1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control
   Exemption Notice (No. 9) 1972.
   (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the
   date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the
   Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First
   Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or
   manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the
   requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
