taking of any of the said land who may have any objection
which he may wish to make to the execution of the said
public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must
set forth his objections in writing and send the same within
40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town

in the City of Rotorua. If any such objection is made, a public
hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the

frontage to Great West Road (extension of Devon Street West
Road) and in the vicinity of the intersection with Pukehangi
Road, Rotorua.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan No. 5 1971—$40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wallace County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Wallace
County Council, pursuant to the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of providing housing for occupation by members of
the Council's staff, the said Wallace County Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.0041c in the dollar on the capital
value of all rateable property in the County of Wallace, and
that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 30th
day of June in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wallace
County Council held on the 3rd day of February 1972.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Te Anau Amenities Loan No. 3, 1971—$82,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wallace County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $82,000 authorised to be raised by the Wallace County
Council, pursuant to the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose
of completing sewerage reticulation in Te Anau township, the
said Wallace County Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.52c in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the County Town of Te Anau, and that the special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wallace
County Council held on the 3rd day of February 1972.

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workshop Loan 1971, $20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Eketahuna County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Eketahuna
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of purchasing and modifying the Eketahuna premises
of Wright Stephenson and Co. Ltd. for use as a workshop and
depot, the said Eketahuna County Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0.0009534c in the dollar upon the rateable value
of all rateable property in the County of Eketahuna, and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and shall be paid yearly on the 1st day
of September in each and every year during the currency of
the loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by
the Eketahuna County Council on the 11th day of February
1972.
