Reservation of Land and Appointment to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for historic purposes, and, further pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, appoints the Taranaki Reserves Board to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as an historic reserve.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 4) 1972

Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 4) 1972.
   (b) This notice is effective from 1 January 1972.

2. Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of goods of the class set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, is hereby withdrawn.

Licensing the Northland Harbour Board to Occupy a Site for a Boat Grid at Unahi in the Awanui Harbour

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby licenses and permits the Northland Harbour Board (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Awanui Harbour, at Unahi, as shown on plan marked M.D. 14457 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat grid as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of February 1972.

3. The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand.
