  1. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
    declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
    purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  2. The Traffic (Waitara Borough) Notice No. 1, 1961, dated
    the 11th day of April 1961†, under section 52 of the Transport
    Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,
    which relates to Waitara Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitara Borough:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New
Plymouth) (from the north-eastern boundary of Waitara
Borough to a point 36 chains measured south-westerly generally
along the said State highway from the said boundary).

Princess Street (from the south-eastern boundary of Waitara
Borough to a point 12 chains measured south-easterly generally
along the said street from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-
Woodville via New Plymouth)).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitara Borough:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New
Plymouth) from Calgher Avenue to a point 24 chains measured
north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the
said avenue.

The Traffic (Masterton Borough) Notice No. 2, 1972

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Masterton
    Borough) Notice No. 2, 1972.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
    excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section
    52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
    hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of
    regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  4. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby
    declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
    purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  5. The Traffic (Masterton Borough) Notice No. 1, notice
    under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulations
    27 and 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 17th
    day of August 1972*, which relates to roads in the Masterton
    Borough, is hereby revoked.

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)
(from South Belt Road to the western boundary of Masterton
Borough).

Chamberlain Street (from the south-western boundary of
Masterton Borough to Upper Plain Road).

Colombo Road (from Te Ore Ore Road to the bridge over
the Waipoua River).

Colville Street.
Edith Street.

Gordon Street (from the northern boundary of Masterton
Borough to a point 6 chains measured south-westerly generally
along the said street from Kitchener Street).

Grierson Street.
Judds Road.
Kibblewhite Road (from the north-eastern boundary of
Masterton Borough to Upper Plain Road).
Mary Street.
Ngaumutawa Road (from Akura Road to a point 16 chains
measured north-easterly generally along Ngaumutawa Road
from Renall Street).

Paul Street.
Railway Road (from the western boundary of Masterton
Borough to Renall Street).
South Belt Road.
No. 52 State Highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) (from a point 7 chains measured westerly generally along
the said highway from Colombo Road to the eastern boundary
of Masterton Borough).
Upper Plain Road (from the north-western boundary of
Masterton Borough to a point 12 chains measured north-
westerly generally along the said road from Railway Road).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Masterton Borough:

Colombo Road (from Te Ore Ore Road to the bridge over
the Waipoua River).

Judds Road (from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-
Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 20 chains measured north-
westerly generally along the said road from the said highway).

South Belt Road.

THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Masterton Borough:

No. 52 State Highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) (from a point 7 chains measured westerly generally
along the said highway from Colombo Road to the eastern
boundary of Masterton Borough).

Upper Plain Road (from a point 1 chain measured south-
easterly generally along the said road from Kibblewhite Street
to a point 12 chains measured north-westerly generally along
the said road from Railway Road).

  3. The Traffic (Ashburton County) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated
    the 8th day of December 1969, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations
    1956, which relates to Ashburton County adjacent to the
    northern boundary of Ashburton Borough, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Ashburton County adjacent to Ashburton Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from the north-
eastern boundary of Ashburton Borough to a point 24 chains
measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary).
