Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in Block IX, Drury Survey District, Franklin County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and also hereby declares that the road secondly and thirdly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall when so closed vest in the Trustees Executors and Agency Company of New Zealand Limited, at Dunedin and Minnie Ella Aicken of Patumahoe, married woman; also hereby declares that the road fourthly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall when so closed vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Franklin; and also hereby declares that the road fifthly described in the Second Schedule hereto and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto shall when so closed and taken respectively vest in Desmond Ernest Wapp, of Owhango near Taumarunui, farmer, and Betty Jean Wapp, his wife, subject to memoranda of mortgage A90959 and A167686, North Auckland Land Registry.
