Plants Declared Noxious Weeds Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the County of Chatham Islands (No. 403 Ag. 20649A)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order, made by the Chatham Islands County Council on the 8th day of November 1972, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
"It was resolved that Council by special order hereby declares that the following noxious weeds:
Californian Thistle (Cirsium arvense).
Variegated Thistle (Silybum marianum).
Winged Thistle (Carduus tenuifloris and Carduus pycnocephalus).
Nodding Thistle (Carduus nutans).
Gorse (Ulex any species).
Hemlock (Conium maculatum)
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
be declared noxious within the County of Chatham Islands."

Licensing Fletcher Timber Co. to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp in the Waikato River at Taupo
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Division, Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby licenses and permits Fletcher Timber Co. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy part of the bed of the Waikato River at Taupo, as shown on plan marked M.D. 14815 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1972.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry, in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and its amendments, and to report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:
- Rim cylinder night latches falling within Tariff item Ex 83.01.019.
- Plastic rulers, 30cm long, falling within Tariff item Ex 90.16.009.

Appointment of Customs Boarding Stations in New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Customs Act 1966, I, Maurice Teasdale Leech, Acting Comptroller of Customs, hereby appoint the harbour areas described in the Schedule hereto as stations or places at which ships arriving or departing from any port shall bring to for the boarding or landing of officers of Customs.
SCHEDULE
ALL those harbour areas declared by the Minister of Health for the purposes of the Health Act 1956 to be places of inspection to which ships liable to quarantine shall be taken while awaiting inspection by the Port Health Officer.
