Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1971, No. 64.

  2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Palmerston North 1971, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Aside Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

WHEREAS by Order in Council, dated 24 September 1958, and published in Gazette, 2 October 1958, No. 59, page 1315, the Maori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation; and whereas it is desired to amend the area set apart; and whereas the Maori Land Court has given its support to such a variation; now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows:

  1. The reservation constituted by Order in Council, dated 24 September 1958 and published in Gazette, 2 October 1958, No. 59, page 1315, relating to the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby cancelled.

  2. The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place, recreation ground, and sports ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Pukenga tribe and to be called "Te Whetu Marae".

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XI, Tauranga Survey District, and described as follows:

Unclaimed Moneys—Notice Under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953

Pursuant to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that lists of unclaimed moneys, derived from all Maori Land Court districts and held by the Maori Trustee, have been filed at the district offices of the Maori and Island Affairs Department at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Christchurch, and at all sub-offices of the department where the same may be inspected during office hours without payment of a fee.

Missing Persons—Notice Under Section 447 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953

Pursuant to section 447 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that a list of missing persons has been filed at the district offices of the Maori and Island Affairs Department at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Christchurch, and at all sub-offices of the department where the same may be inspected during office hours without payment of a fee.

Surrender of Oyster Farming Lease

Notice is hereby given that Ronald Stanley Mancer has surrendered lease No. 85 comprising 5 acres in the Maketu Estuary for cultivating rock oysters, and the lease has been cancelled.
