HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excell-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares
that the service lane described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the
Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Kawerau,
and be under the control and management of the Kawerau
Borough Council.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the
sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land
being no longer required for the purpose for which it was
acquired.

Authorising the Waitemata County Council to Reclaim Crown
Land at Weiti River, Stillwater

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises

the Waitemata County Council to reclaim from the Weiti River
at Stillwater, an area of 1 acre 2 roods 0.3 perches, more or
less, of Crown land as shown edged in red on plan M.D. 14071
and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at
Wellington.

Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the
Manukau City Council to reclaim from Waimahia Inlet,
Manukau Harbour, an area of 1 rood and 33 perches, more or
less, of the Auckland Harbour Board's endowment land as
shown edged in red on plan M.D. 14368 and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District From
the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

Pursuant to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir
Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, do hereby exempt the lands described in the Schedule
hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-RAGLAN COUNTY
Lots 7 and 8, D.P. 21946, being Part Allotment 136, Whangape
Parish, situated in Block XIII, Rangiriri Survey District: area,
2 roods and 17.9 perches, more or less. Part of certificate of
title, Volume 639, folio 264.
Lot 30, D.P. 21946, being Part Allotment 136, Whangape
Parish, situated in Block XIII, Rangiriri Survey District: area,
1 rood and 4.3 perches, more or less. Certificate of title,
Volume 793, folio 20.

Exempting Land in the Westland Land District from the
Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

Pursuant to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir
Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule
hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT-GREY COUNTY
Lot 15, Block II, D.P. 148, being part Section 4, Square 124,
situated in Block III, Cobden Survey District: area, 24 perches,
more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 2A, folio 1079,
reserving and excepting to the Bank of New South Wales its
successors and assigns the right to the minerals beneath the
surface of the above-described lot with full power and authority
to work, hew, and get the said minerals by underground work-
ing without entering upon or in any manner affecting or
exercising any rights or powers whatsoever in or over the
surface of the said land.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 17th day of November 1971.
