Directing the Sale of Land in Block XVI, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 15th day of November 1971 Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XVI, Maramarua Survey District, described as follows: A. R. P. Being 0 0 11 Part Allotment 394, Whangamarino Parish (D.P. 23798); coloured yellow, edged yellow on plan M.O.W. 25262 (S.O. 30480). 0 0 4.1 Part Allotment 394, Whangamarino Parish (D.P. 23798); coloured sepia, edged sepia on plan M.O.W. 25263 (S.O. 34200). 0 0 1.7 Part Allotment 394, Whangamarino Parish (D.P. 23798); coloured orange, edged orange on plan M.O.W. 25263 (S.O. 34200). 0 0 0.3 Part Allotment 231, Whangamarino Parish; coloured sepia, edged sepia on plan M.O.W. 25263 (S.O. 34200).
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above-mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Extending the Time Within Which the Royal Commission to Inquire Into and Report Upon Handling of Containers, Seafreighters, and Unitised Cargo May Report ELIZABETH THE SECOND, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Her Other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith: To Our Trusty and Well-beloved LAURENCE HENRY SOUTHWICK, of Auckland, one of Her Majesty's Counsel; the Honourable ARNOLD HENRY NORDMEYER, C.M.G., of Wellington, retired Member of Parliament; and FRANK ANDREW REEVES, C.B.E., of Wellington, retired general manager: GREETING: WHEREAS by Our Warrant dated the 24th day of May 1971 We nominated, constituted, and appointed you, the said Laurence Henry Southwick, the Honourable Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, and Frank Andrew Reeves, to be a Commission to receive representations upon, inquire into, investigate, and report upon certain matters concerning the handling of containers, seafreighters, and unitised cargo:
And whereas by Our said Warrant the said Commission was required to report to His Excellency the Governor-General, not later than the 31st day of December 1971, its findings and opinions on the matters aforesaid, together with such recommendations as it might think fit to make in respect thereto:
And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting should be extended as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, We do hereby extend until the 30th day of June 1972, the time within which the said Commission is so required to report without prejudice to the priority that it is required by Our said Warrant to give to the matters aforesaid so far as they relate to services already existing and without prejudice to the liberty conferred on it by Our said Warrant to report its proceedings and findings from time to time if it should judge it expedient so to do:
And We do hereby confirm Our said Warrant and the Commission thereby constituted save as modified by these presents.
And it is hereby declared that these presents are issued under the authority of the Letters Patent of His Late Majesty King George the Fifth, dated the 11th day of May 1917, and under the authority of and subject to the provisions of the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand.
In witness whereof We have caused these presents to be issued and the Seal of New Zealand to be hereunto affixed at Wellington this 22nd day of November 1971.
