The Road Classification (Taranaki County) Notice No. 4, 1971

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Taranaki County) Notice No. 4, 1971.

  2. The Taranaki County Council's proposed classification of the road as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 26th day of September 1960† as relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Wellington Industrial District Drainlayers' Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1982, situated at Federation House, 95 Molesworth Street, Wellington, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Increase in Number of Members on the Tokoroa Pest Destruction Board (No. 149 Ag. 20891A)

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the following resolution, passed by the Tokoroa Pest Destruction Board on 5 May 1971, is hereby published.

RESOLUTION

That in terms of section 32 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967 that this Board be increased from six members as set out in section 31 (1) of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967 to seven members.

Decisions Under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33, Notice No. 59

DECISIONS in interpretation of the Sales Tax Act, notified in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of 30 April 1970, No. 25, are amended as follows:

Minister's decisions 1.E. (f) and (q) are cancelled and replaced by the following:

(f) The building and fitting of bodies to commercial trucks and delivery vans, also the fabrication of body panels for such purposes.

(q) The alteration of commercial trucks, to enable them to be used for specific load-carrying purposes, provided that the property in the vehicle has already passed to the ultimate user. This includes the manufacture of parts for use by the manufacturer in the alteration by him of commercial trucks, but not parts manufactured for sale.

Minister's decision 1.E. is amended by the addition of the following note:

Note—The provisions of Minister's decision 1.E. (e) to (k) and (q) do not apply to persons engaged in the assembly of motor vehicles.
