That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of $15,900 (to be known as
Redemption Loan No. 2, 1970) authorised to be raised by
the Tararua Electric Power Board in New Zealand by
“Consent” under the above-mentioned Act and of all other
Acts and Authorities it thereunto enabling for the purpose
of repaying at maturity those portions of the Pongaroa Feeder
Loan 1960 of $58,000 maturing on the 4th day of April 1971,
the said Tararua Electric Power Board hereby makes a
special rate of 0.022 (twenty two thousandths) of a cent
in the $ upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved
value), of all the rateable property in the Tararua Electric
Power Board District as defined in the New Zealand Gazette,
No. 31, of the 22nd day of May 1958, at pages 652 and
653; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or
until the loan is fully paid off.

MATAURA BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Mataura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of $2,000, authorised to be raised by the Mataura
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing chattels and equipment for doctor’s
residence and surgery, the said Mataura Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two four three
two cents (.02432) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all
rateable property within the Borough of Mataura, and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, being a period of ten years (10) or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIKOUAITI COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Waitati Water Loan No. 2, 1970—$4,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wai-
kouaiti County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $4,500, authorised to be raised by the Waikouaiti
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for refunding
to the County Fund Account expenditure incurred in provid-
ing a water supply system for the Waitati Water Supply
District and surrounding area, the said Waikouaiti County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.08 cents in the dollar
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waitati
Water Supply District of the County of Waikouaiti, compris-
ing the land listed in the special roll prepared and authenti-
cated for the said District, and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Merton Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1970—$5,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waikouaiti County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $5,800, authorised to be raised by the Waikouaiti
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for refunding
to the County Fund Account, expenditure incurred in provid-
ing a water supply system for the Merton Water Supply
District, the said Waikouaiti County Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0.029 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Merton Water Supply District
of the County of Waikouaiti, comprising the land listed in the
special roll prepared and authenticated for the said District,
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the
15th day of August in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

Warrington Water Loan No. 2, 1970—$8,300

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waikouaiti County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $8,300, authorised to be raised by the Waikouaiti
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for refunding
to the County Fund Account expenditure of $3,000 incurred
in providing a water supply system for the Warrington Water
Supply District and surrounding area, and extending the War-
rington water supply system to service Evansdale, the said
Waikouaiti County Council hereby makes a special rate of
0.189 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rate-
able property of the Warrington Water Supply District of the
County of Waikouaiti, comprising land listed in the special
roll prepared and authenticated for the said District, and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day
of August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.
