NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and its amend-
ments, public notice is hereby given by the Otorohanga County
Council that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public
Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land
described in the Schedule hereto, and notice is hereby further
given that a plan showing the said pieces of land is on view
and open for inspection at the office of the Council at the
address set out below and that every person affected by the
taking of the said pieces of land should set forth in writing
any objection he may wish to make, not being an objection to
the amount of compensation payable, and send the written
objection within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice to the County Clerk, Otorohanga County Council,
Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND CLOSE
ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
given that the Waipawa County Council proposes under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to take the land
described in the First Schedule hereto for road and for
severances, and to close the road in the Second Schedule
hereto, and notice is hereby further given that plans showing
the land proposed to be taken and the road proposed to be
closed are deposited in the main office of the clerk of the
above-mentioned Council situated at Waipawa, and are open
for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary
office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land
who have any objection thereto (not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation), must state their objec-
tion in writing, and lodge the same at the office of the County
Clerk on or before the 20th day of March 1971. If any such
objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of a time and place of the hearing.
