Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957,
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
authorise the holder for the time being of the office in the
service of the Crown specified in the Schedule below to take
and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain
parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part
XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Rotorua 1971, No. 36.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land
    described in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby
    released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
    Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953; and whereas certain parcels of that land have
been partitioned by subsequent orders of the Maori Land
Court; and whereas certain parcels of land have since been
released from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid, and
whereas it is desired to release the balance of the said land
from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Gisborne 1971, No. 35.
  2. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
    released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs
    Act 1953.
  3. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby revoked.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of
a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the
Ngati Mamoe and Ngaitahu tribes.
