CITY OF MANUKAU
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Reticulation Loan 1971, $80,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
providing water reticulation within the City of Manukau, the
Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought nought six three cents (.0063c) in the dollar ($) upon
the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the
City of Manukau, and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council,
hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a
meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 28th day
of October 1971.

THOMAS GEORGE MACARTHY TRUST AMENDMENT
ACT 1971

NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of New Zealand
proposes to apply for leave to bring into the General Assembly
of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, during its present
session, a Private Bill, the objects of which are to redesignate
the special “Buildings Replacement Fund”, established under
section 3 of the Thomas George Macarthy Trust Act 1936, as
the “Buildings Redevelopment and Replacement Fund”; and
to substitute a new section for section 4 of the 1936 Act so as
to allow moneys from time to time standing in the special
Buildings Redevelopment and Replacement Fund to be applied
in the replacement or redevelopment of estate buildings, or in
or towards the purchase of land adjoining or adjacent to estate
buildings necessary or desirable for the adequate and economic
replacement or redevelopment of estate buildings, or in effect-
ing improvements to estate buildings as cannot properly be
charged to income.

The promoter of the Private Bill is the Public Trustee of
New Zealand.

and a copy of the Bill may be inspected at, the office of the
Public Trustee, 131–135 Lambton Quay, Wellington.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription $10 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
