Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for scenic purposes.

South Auckland Land District—Taupo County
Tirohanga Scenic Reserve

Section 26, Block XVI, Whakamaru Survey District: area, 312 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 44388).

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Bay of Islands County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

North Auckland Land District—Bay of Islands County
LOT 9, D.P. 35860, being part Old Land Claim 3, situated in Block XI, Kerikeri Survey District: area, 2 roods and 10.8 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 679, folio 153.

Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District to be No Longer a Water Area

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto is no longer a water area for the purposes of section 50 of that Act.

SCHEDULE

South Auckland Land District
All that area of land in the Whakatane County, situated in Blocks V and IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, containing by admeasurement 779 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being allotments 235, 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, 241, and 260 of the Parish of Matata (S.O. Plan 28996).

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 24) 1971

Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 24) 1971.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto and goods of the classes specified in the Second Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Third Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notices shown in the Third Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.
