Declaring an Easement Over Land Taken for Broadcasting
Purposes (Television Transmitter Station) in Block XI,
Belmont Survey District, Hutt County
Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928 and
section 15 of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, an easement for right
of way is hereby taken for broadcasting purposes (television
transmitter station) from and after the 1st day of November
1971 over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting
in the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation the full free
uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty, and privilege in
perpetuity for the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation, its
servants, tenants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees in
common with the registered proprietors, their tenants and any
other person lawfully entitled to do so from time to time and
at all times by day and by night to go, pass, and repass with
or without horses and domestic animals of any kind or with
or without carriages, vehicles, motor vehicles, machinery, and
implements of any kind over and along the land described in
the Schedule hereto, to the intent that such easement shall be
as and in the nature of an easement in gross.
