Licensing William Edward Johnson, Trading as Medora
Fisheries, to Occupy a Site for a Landing Jetty, Freezer, and
Shed in Blanket Bay, Doubtful Sound

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits William Edward Johnson trading
as Medora Fisheries (hereinafter called the licensee, which
term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns
unless the context requires a different construction), to use and
occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Blanket Bay, in
Doubtful Sound, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13777 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a landing jetty,
freezer, and shed as shown on the said plan, such licence to
be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the
terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 (hereinafter called the Regulations), and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply
hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be two (2) years from the
1st day of January 1971.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten
dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee
shall be sixteen dollars ($16).

(4) The licensee shall at all times during the continuance of
the licence maintain the structures in good order and repair.

(5) In accordance with regulation 13 of the Regulations this
licence may be revoked by the Minister, without liability for
compensation, after at least 3 calendar months' previous notice
in writing, or at any time if the licensee commits a breach of
these conditions.

(6) In accordance with regulation 14 of the Regulations, all
structures are to be removed, and the foreshore restored to its
original condition within 1 month of the expiry of this licence,
unless it is renewed, or within 1 month of the date of revocation of the licence.

(7) This licence is granted only in respect of the site for the
aforementioned structures and does not confer any rights of
access or usage of land above high water ordinary spring tides,
such land being Crown land under the control of the Fiord-
land National Park Board.

Notice of Amendment of Licence to Waihau Bay Sports Fishing
Club (Incorporated)

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby further amends the licence of 18 December 1967*
authorising the Waihau Bay Sports Fishing Club (Incor-
porated) to use and occupy part of the foreshore and sea bed
at Waihau Bay, by deleting the Second Schedule as amended
on 17 December 1968† and substituting a new Second Schedule
as follows:

SECOND SCHEDULE

DUES

1. Every commercial fisherman who shall use the said boat
   ramp with any boat, vehicle, or general matter connected with
   his trade shall pay the following dues to the said club for the
   use thereof; either,

(a) the sum of $20.00 per annum, or
(b) the sum of $1.00 per day.
