The Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1971

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1971.
  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  3. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 19th day of November 1957†, which relates to Franklin County at Drury, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Franklin County at Drury:

Great South Road (from a point 2 chains measured southerly generally along Great South Road from Waihoehoe Road to the Slippery Creek Bridge).

The Traffic (Hawke's Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1971

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke's Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1971.
  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be within a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, from the 20th day of December each year to the Tuesday following Easter inclusive in the next ensuing year, to the intent that the said road shall within that period be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles an hour which is fixed by the said section.
  4. The notice under the Transport Act 1962, dated the 26th day of March 1968*, which relates to Te Awanga and Waimarama in the Hawke's Bay County is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hawke's Bay County at Te Awanga:

Kuku Street.

Leyland Street.

Mangateretere—Te Awanga Road (from a point 28 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said main highway from Wellwood Terrace to Kuku Street).

Pipi Street.

Wellwood Terrace.

SITUATED within Hawke's Bay County at Waimarama:

Airini Road.

Bradford Crescent.

Hastings—Waimarama Road (from Harper Road to a point 4 chains measured westerly generally along the Hastings-Waimarama Road).

Moori Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hawke's Bay County at Whirinaki Beach:

Whirinaki Beach Road.

The Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 2, 1971

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 2, 1971.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  3. The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 6th day of January 1966†, which related to Harihari in Westland County is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Westland County at Harihari:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) (from Wanganui Flat Road to a point 70 chains measured easterly generally along the said State Highway from Wanganui Flat Road).

Wanganui Flat Road (from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to a point 48 chains measured north-easterly generally along Wanganui Flat Road from the said State Highway).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work near Middleton and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, and subject to building line restriction contained in notice 388191, Canterbury Land Registry, as from the 8th day of February 1971.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—PAPARUA COUNTY

ALL that piece of land described as follows:

A. R. P. Railway land being
0 0 29.5 Lot 26, D.P. 17080, part Rural Section 108, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in register book, Volume 635, folio 69, Canterbury Land Registry.
