LEVELS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
County Offices Loan 1971, $90,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levels
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $90,000, authorised to be raised by the Levels County
Council, under the Local Authorities Loans Act, for the con-
struction of a new administrative building, the said Levels
County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0239756 of a
cent in the dollar upon the rateable capital value of all rateable
property in the County of Levels, and that the said special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off."
Passed at a meeting of the Levels County Council held on 6
October 1971.

RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners' Accommodation Division Street Loan 1971, $36,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers invested in it
by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and its amendments
and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments
and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it, the
Riccarton Borough Council hereby resolves by special order as
follows:
That the Council hereby appropriate and pledge as security
for the repayment of the said loan and charges thereto a
special annual rate of 0.02325c in the dollar upon the
unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the
borough during the currency of the loan, being a period of
30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed at a special meeting of Council held on 27 July 1971.

ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sanitary Sewer Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 3, 1971,
$27,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the One
Tree Hill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of twenty-seven thousand dollars ($27,000), authorised
to be raised by the One Tree Hill Borough Council, under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity
that portion of the issue of $40,000 of the Sanitary Sewer
Reticulation Loan, 1961, of $780,000, which matures on the 1st
day of November 1971, the said One Tree Hill Borough Coun-
cil hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nought nought
one of a cent (.1001c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable
property in the No. 3 Special Drainage Area (Penrose) of the
Borough of One Tree Hill and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Flats Loan 1971, $18,000
PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hokianga County Council
hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $18,000, authorised to be raised by the Hokianga
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of erecting pensioner flats consisting of two double units
and four single units in the township of Rawene, the said
Hokianga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.051
of a cent in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of
all rateable lands in the County of Hokianga, and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a properly constituted
meeting of the Hokianga County Council held on Wednesday,
22 September 1971.

MURUPARA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL TO CHANGE SYSTEM OF RATING
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 16 of the Rating Act
1967, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of
the Borough of Murupara, taken on the 9th day of October
1971, on the proposal that the system of rating in the district
be changed from the capital value rating system to the
unimproved value rating system.
