Adding Land to the Fiordland National Park

At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of October 1971
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of Fiordland National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Fiordland National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Lake County, containing 1,400 acres, more or less, being part Run 418, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the north-western corner of Run 756, Block VI, Greenstone Survey District, and proceeding due west to the generally western boundary of part Run 418; thence generally northerly, easterly, and southerly along the generally western, northern, and eastern boundaries of that run to the northern boundary of Run 756; thence westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Amendment to Rules of Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Sharebrokers Act 1908, the Governor-General in Council on 18 October 1971 approved the following amendment to the Rules of the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand:

Rule 15—This rule is deleted and the following substituted:
Election of President and Vice President
(i) At each annual meeting the committee shall elect a member to be President of the Association and another member to be Vice President of the Association. A nominee need not be a delegate. The President and the Vice President shall hold office until the conclusion of the meeting at which their successors in office are appointed.
(ii) A candidate for each of the offices of President and Vice President shall be nominated by the executive not later than 31 October in each year and each such candidate shall signify in writing his willingness to be elected. All exchanges shall be notified immediately such nominations have been made.
(iii) Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph an exchange may nominate a candidate for either office. Each such candidate shall signify in writing his willingness to be elected. Nominations shall close at the office of the Association not later than 30 November in each year. Exchanges shall be notified of the names of all candidates for each position as soon as practicable after nominations have closed.
(iv) A country member shall not be counted as a member for purposes of this rule.
Rule 113A—This is deleted and replaced by the following:
(i) Unless otherwise determined by the executive transactions in all securities (other than New Zealand Government stock or local body stock) shall be officially quoted as “ex dividend”, “ex interest”, or “ex capital return”, as the case
