of KEEP FIT FOOD COMPANY LIMITED, a duly incorporated
company having its registered office at Edson's Building, 31
Lorne Street, Auckland, and carrying on business as eating-
house proprietors and general traders:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
6th day of October 1971, presented to the said Court by
THORNTON ELECTRICAL LIMITED, a duly incorporated company
having its registered office at Auckland and carrying on
business as electrical engineers and contractors. And that the
said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at
Auckland on the 27th day of October 1971, at 10 o'clock in
the forenoon, any creditor or contributory of the said company
desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the
said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or
by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition
will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or con-
tributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of
the regulated charge for the same.

THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the
Public Works Act 1928:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Thames Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to
execute a certain public work, namely, to construct and layout
a service lane in the block bounded by Pollen, Willoughby,
Queen, and Richmond Streets, in the borough of Thames, and
for the purposes of such public work the lands described in
the First and Second Schedules hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the lands
so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the
Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Mary Street,
Thames, and are open for inspection without fee by all persons
during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to
the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the
said lands must state their objections in writing, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and
send the same within 40 days from the first publication of the
notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Mary
Street, Thames.

If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objec-
tion will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and
each objector will be advised of the time and place of the
hearing.

poses to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose
of a public convenience (already constructed on the said land).
Notice is further given that plans of the land so required to
be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk
