swimming pool complex in King Edward Park, Waihi Road, Hawera, the said Hawera Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nine one five two of a cent (.019152c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hawera (defined in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, No. 4, at page 68), and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 5, 1971
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ellesmere County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Ellesmere County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Ellesmere County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three nine five cents (.00395c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Ellesmere, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Ellesmere County Council on the 20th day of September 1971.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on loans of seventeen thousand three hundred dollars ($17,300), four thousand seven hundred dollars ($4,700), four thousand four hundred dollars ($4,400), two thousand dollars ($2,000), five thousand three hundred dollars ($5,300), six thousand five hundred dollars ($6,500), authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of completing the purposes for which the Pensioners' Cottages (Andrews Crescent) Loan 1970, $105,700, (Beachville Road) Loan 1970, $46,300, (Ferry Road) Loan 1970, $67,600, (Springfield Road) Loan 1970, $58,000, (Arran Crescent) Loan 1970, $36,700, and (Dyers Road) Loan 1970, $50,500, were sanctioned, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies special rates of $.00000525 (decimal nought nought nought nought nought nought five two five), $.00000145 (decimal nought nought nought nought nought one four five), $.00000135 (decimal nought nought nought nought nought nought one three five), $.00000061 (decimal nought nought nought nought nought six one), $.0000016 (decimal nought nought nought nought nought one six), and $.00000196 (decimal nought nought nought nought nought one nine six) in the dollar respectively, on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rates shall be annual-recurring rates payable on
demand during the currency of the loans, being terms of thirty (30) years in each case or until the loans are fully paid off.”
The Christchurch City Council at a meeting held on the 27th day of September 1971, passed the above resolution.

Horotiu Water Supply Loan 1971, $11,000
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of $11,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipa County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing a water supply in the Horotiu Water Supply Special Rating Area, the said County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2.432c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Horotiu Water Supply Special Rating Area, described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
