WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a public convenience (already constructed on the said land). Notice is further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the taking of such land who have any objections to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank Street, Whangarei. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP ROADS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to stop the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further given that plans showing the portions of road proposed to be stopped is deposited at the office of the said Council, situated at Main Road, Kawakawa, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the proposed stopping and who have an objection thereto, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the County Clerk, Bay of Islands County Council, P.O. Box 11, Kawakawa, so as to reach him not later than 40 days after the first publication of this notice.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
City Development Redemption Loan 1971, $101,400
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and one thousand four hundred dollars ($101,400) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the City Development Loan 1961, $284,000, first issue of $164,000, which matures on 1 December 1971, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of two hundred and forty-three ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0243c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 27th day of September 1971.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Parking Land Purchase and Development Loan 1969, $100,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council, under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land to provide vehicle parking, the Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and fifty-one ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0151c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 27th day of September 1971.
