line commencing at the intersection of the middle lines of
Birchdale Road and Murrays Road, in Block II, Waipara
Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along the middle
of Birchdale Road, Allandale Road, Horsley Down Road, and
Princes Street to the middle of No. 7 State Highway; thence
southerly along the middle of that highway to a point in line
with the middle of Waikari Valley Road; thence easterly
generally to and along the middle of Waikari Valley Road,
Sealeys Direct Road, and Waikari Valley Road again to a
point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4046,
in Block IX, Waikari Survey District; thence southerly
generally to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary
of Lot 1, D.P. 9958, to the south-western boundary of Lot 1,
D.P. 4716; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the
south-western boundary of Section 5, Glenmark Settlement, to
the middle of Glenmark Road; thence south-westerly generally
along the middle of that road and No. 1 State Highway,
Awanui-Bluff, to the middle of the Waipara River; thence
westerly generally up the middle of that river to its confluence
with the north branch of the Waipara River; thence northerly
generally up the middle of that river to the middle of Heath-
stock Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that
road and Pawseys Road to the intersection of Birchdale Road
and Murrays Road, to the point of commencement.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
(as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans
Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to
the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary
to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents
to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective

middle of that highway and Glenmark Road to the south-
western boundary of Section 5, Glenmark Settlement; thence
north-westerly along that boundary and the south-western
boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4716, to the eastern boundary of Lot
1, D.P. 9958; thence northerly generally along that boundary
and the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4046, and the pro-
duction of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of
Waikari Valley Road; thence easterly along the middle of that
road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 4,

Block I, Weld Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly
generally along the mean high-water mark of the sea to a point
in line with the south-western boundary of Rural Section
30982, in Block XVI, Stonyhurst Survey District; thence
north-westerly to and along that boundary and north-
easterly along the north-western boundary of Lot
1, D.P. 8423, to the western boundary of Lot 2,
D.P. 12025; thence northerly along that boundary and its
production to the middle of Vulcan Road; thence westerly
along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-
western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 13843; thence north-westerly
to and along that boundary and the south-western boundaries
of Lot 7, D.P. 17614, and Lot 2, D.P. 24987, and north-easterly
