HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

This order may be cited as the Manuherikia Pest Destruction District Amending Order 1971, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Order in Council altering and extending the boundaries of the Manuherikia Pest Destruction District, published in the Gazette of 29 July 1971, at page 1483 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Schedule thereto and substituting therefor the Schedule to this order.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MANUHERIKIA PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Counties of Maniototo and Vincent, containing 151,543 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Run 244G on Tiger Hill Survey District and proceeding south-easterly along the south-western side of the Ida Valley-Omakau Road to the south-western side of the Opher-Moa Creek Road; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of that road and its production to the south-eastern side of the Poolburn-Moa Creek Road; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 11, Block XV, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along the south-western boundary of Section 11, aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Ida Valley Settlement situated in Block XIV, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of that settlement and its production to the north-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block XIV, aforesaid; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 7, aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XIII, aforesaid; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 2, aforesaid, to the western boundary of Run 587; thence generally southerly along the generally western boundary of Run 587 to the southernmost corner of Run 565A; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Run 565 to the easternmost corner of Run 565; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Runs 565 and 566 to the westernmost corner of Run 353G; thence generally westerly along the generally southern boundaries of Runs 566, 567, and 569 to the north-western corner of Run 641; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Runs 199K and 199L to the northernmost corner of Run 199L; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Run 199L to the westernmost corner of Run 199L; thence generally north-easterly and westerly along the generally north-western and

southern boundaries of Run 569 to the south-eastern corner of Run 569A; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Run 569A and its production to the south-eastern corner of part Run 570; thence northerly and north-westerly along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of part run 570 to the east shore of Lake Roxburgh; thence generally north-easterly along that shore of Lake Roxburgh to the Manuherikia River; thence generally north-easterly to and along the middle of the main stream of the Manuherikia River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 26, Block II, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence south-easterly and north-easterly to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that section to the easternmost corner of Section 26, aforesaid; thence generally easterly along the generally southern side of the Ida Valley-Omakau Road to the north-eastern corner of Run 244G, the point of commencement.

Validating Irregularity in Connection With Notice Calling for Nominations of Candidates for Waimairi County Council

PURSUANT to the Local Elections and Polls Act 1966, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

THE notice given on 26 August 1971 by the returning officer for the County of Waimairi calling for nominations of candidates for two members to represent the Avonhead, Harewood, and Wairarapa Ridings, respectively, of the County, is hereby validated and declared to have been lawfully given, notwithstanding that the special order increasing from one to two the number of members to represent each of those ridings was passed at a special meeting of the Council held on 30 August 1971 and was not confirmed until the ordinary meeting of the Council on 30 September 1971.

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 30 of the Dairy Board Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

This order may be cited as the Dairy Board (Directors' Fees) Order 1967, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Dairy Board (Directors' Fees) Order 1967* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

Clause 2 of the principal order is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (a) the expression "Β£200 sterling per annum" and substituting the expression "Β£400 sterling per annum".
